Box Tops Can Mean Money for Our School

The Bolton PTA has raised thousands of dollars through the General Mills “Box Tops for Education” Program. These dollars are used to support many PTA activities. Most of the money is raised through the clip program, where Box Tops symbols are clipped from packages of General Mills products and redeemed for cash.

If you use General Mills products, please clip these Box Tops symbols and send them to school with your child!

The Box Tops for Education Program also has another way to raise cash for our school. It's the Box Tops Booster Club, where BCS families, friends and relatives can sign up online to support our school. This provides access to the Market Place, where over 200 stores (Barnes & Noble 2.5%, Dell 0.5 -2%, Microsoft 6%, Target & Disney Store 2.5%, Oriental Trading 6%, Scholastic Stores 3%, etc.) will give 1-25% of your purchases to the Bolton PTA.

Members have the option of getting periodic updates of BCS Box Tops standings, along with a monthly newsletter on suggested movies, books, product coupons and recipes. For those online shoppers, this is a great way to avoid the mall and to support BCS. When you register, you will be asked if you want a shopping reminder to popup that reminds you that you are shopping at a Box Tops merchant. All you do is click the pop-up to tell the company you are a BCS Box Tops shopper.

The Bolton PTA can earn thousands of dollars each year with this program! This money can be used for books, computers, playground equipment etc. This program is only offered to K-8 Schools. Remember to have your relatives, neighbors and friends support our school by also clipping, shopping or using the Box Tops VISA.

Help Our PTA By Participating in eScrip

The Bolton Center School PTA is participating in a fundraiser called eScrip. Through this program, all members of the community can earn cash contributions for the our PTA.

eScrip is proven to be a fantastic resource for fundraising, where participating business partners contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to our school. It costs you nothing to participate.

Some of the participating retailers are Adams, Eddie Bauer, Chem Lawn, Payless Shoe Source, Office Max and Wild Oats. A complete list of participants in the program can be found at www.escrip.com.

Here’s how it works:

  • You register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program.
  • Participating merchants will make contributions to our PTA, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered.
  • Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child’s behalf!
